Joseph Nathaniel France (JNF) General Hospital experiences an added improvement in their services of delivery, when on Friday, August 23, two ambulances of 2018 model were given to the health-based institution by the St. Christopher and Nevis Social Security Board.
The Social Security Board is particularly elated for officially handing over two ambulances for enhancing the hospital’s emergency response proficiency. We are delighted to honor this particular request and the extra amount because we acknowledge the significance of having functional, fully charged and technologically advanced ambulances as part of our fleet. It was, therefore, essential to buy and commission these ambulances to satisfy the requirements of those needing emergency care particularly in this environment, said Antonio Maynard, Director of St. Christopher and Nevis Social Security Board at a ceremony at JNF.
The executive told that with the donation, the organization displays its prolong dedication towards delivery and development of healthcare throughout the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, he includes that the Board comprehends the significance of having a healthy workforce and suitable health services.
Minister of State with responsibility for Health, the Respectable Senator Wendy Phipps, expressed the gratitude on the behalf of the Ministry of Health in receiving such a substantial donation.
“I would like to participate with all the past speakers here this morning in saying how pleased the Ministry of Health is to be at the receiving end of what I believe to be a very generous contribution to healthcare development in St. Kitts and Nevis, specifically to our institution-based healthcare system as we continue to build on the emergency medical response in the and Nevis and the Federation of St. Kitts,” said Minister Phipps.
She included that the contribution leads to a total of five ambulances available for use in St. Kitts.
